This card has an Autosaved Draft

    [[Cards]]

Wagn lets you organize information into chunks called [[cards]]. Each of these [["wiki"]] building blocks has a unique name and a [[revision]] history.  The demo video illustrates creating and editing cards, [[auto save | auto-saving]],|auto-saving]], and [[renaming]].

    [[Inclusions]]

Cards can [[inclusion|include]] other cards inside them, and you can edit those included cards (called [["inclusions"]]) in place. You can display [[inclusions]] in many different ways using [[views]].  Using [[inclusions]] with [[contextual names]] is an effective way to break information into bite-sized chunks.

    [[Card Types|Types]]

Every card also has a [[card type|type]], which determines what kind of content it has. Cards with the [[Image]] type contain images, [[File]] cards contain files, etc. You can also add custom types, such as Organizations, Products, or Species.

    • [[Users]] - all user accounts are associated with a card that can be used as profile page
    • [[Account Requests]] - used for managing user sign-ups
    • [[Pointers]] - static lists of cards
    • [[Searches]] - dynamic lists of cards

    [[Sets]] & [[Settings]]

Wagn lets you apply [[settings]] (configuration options) to [[sets]] (groups) of cards.   [[Sets]] can be as general as all cards, as specific as a single one, or any of a wide variety of selections in between.  So whenever you apply [[settings]], like [[custom layouts]], [[captcha]], or, [[table of contents]], the settings can be as broad or as narrow as you need.

Some of the most powerful settings control [[formatting]].  In Wagn you can create rich patterns of [[*default|default content]] and [[*content|template-controlled content]] by combining [[card type|types]], [[inclusions]], [[views]], [[settings]], and [[contextual names]].
