Let's say you have two card types: Company and Product. And you want to connect each Product to one or more companies, eg the manufacturer, the distributor, retailers, etc. How do you do it?

A very powerful way to create a connection between one cardtype and another is through Pointer cards. You can create special views of pointer relationships (and any relationship) using Search cards.
For example, suppose you have a Company card "Apple" and a Product card for "iPod", and you want to show through cards that Apple makes iPods.
One way to do so would be to create a plus card named "iPod+manufacturer" with the Pointer type, and then enter "Apple" as the content of that card.
