Redirect after card create weirdness+discussion

Issue is the question mark.  We had a ticket about this for a looooong time before we figured it out.  Should be reasonably easy to fix now that we know what's going on.  Here's the ticket:

don't redirect after creating cards w xtion marks in name

obviously, workaround is to get rid of the "?" for now :)
