Sometimes we want the default content for a card to be determined by an inclusion (or perhaps a relative link), but we want the default content to be the actual result of rendering the markup, not the markup itself.

Example cases:

• Email addresses for a flexible email - we want to be able to see later who the mail actually went out to.
• Guessing a username for IRC or other service - would like to guess/suggest the person's username on Wagn, but let them edit it.
