be consistent and good err msg for non-type tforms+example

Just click create and you'll get an application error:

http://test.dwagn.org/wagn/foo+*tform

It creates it if you make it soft. If you then change it to hard and save it seems to work, but it's still soft. You can change http://test.dwagn.org/wagn/foo+*rform to hard when creating and it works fine.

(Test is still 1.0.0, so i tested here on wagn.org - http://wagn.org/wagn/foobar+*tform - and got the same behavior.)
