don't crash search for main+discussion    

probably means one of the cards in the search is busted.  that's why I want to rescue search when item breaks.   Thanks, I'll look into it.

not sure what was doing that. at least now (since closing rescue search when item breaks) we would be able to figure out which card is causing the problem
