The message you get after "done" saying what you've accomplished isn't displaying until after the next page load.
Edit http://test.dwagn.org/wagn/delayed_message_test and you'll see "connecting to server" then "done" in the corner.
Then click on any other link (in-Wagn), and you'll see "updated delayed message test" in the corner.
