Wagn lets you create your own help text, which will show up when people are creating or editing cards. How do you do this? By creating cards, of course!

Page

Simply plus a cardtype to *edit, and in that new card, type the help text you'd like to have show up when cards of that type are being created or edited. If you want different text when cards of that type are being created, then plus the cardtype to *new and put the first-time-only text there. If you only want the help text to show up when cards of that type are being created, then create the +*new card but not the *edit one.

Similarly, if you plus a card that's used as a right side to *edit and/or *new, that help text will appear when editing that card (on its own, or as a relative inclusion).

Here's Fruit+*edit:

Remember, tomatoes are not vegetables.

So if you click on Edit on Apple (a Fruit card), you'll see the help text in the yellow background above the card content:

You can count how many seeds are in an apple, but you can't count how many apples are in a seed.

Here's preparation time+*edit:

How long it takes to chop, marinate, etc., everything you need to do before the actual cooking.

If you edited Carnitas+preparation time you'd see the help text, just as above. But you'll also see it if you just edit Carnitas:

Pork

Water

Salt

Lime

Preparation

Put the pork in a pan and cover (barely) with water.  Sprinkle liberally with salt.  Cook on medium flame until the liquid is reduced to a small amount that barely covers the bottom of the pan.  Be sure to turn the pieces of pork halfway through.

Pull the pork out and shred/pull.  Return to the pan and squeeze in the juice of two limes.

Cook until the pork starts to crisp.
